Credit may be given on these accounts though purchase on credit is not currently available when purchasing through this website.
3. Trade Customers
PJ offers a standard 35% trade discount on our products for bookshop. If you are a bookshop and wish to set up a trade account, please contact us with the bookshop name, address, and two trade references. PJ publications are also available through teleordering. Trade discount is available through our website for existing customers: please contact PJ admin@publicisejesus.org for details.
4. Special Offers
Special offers are made by us occasionally. These take the form of bundled products whereby a special price is offered for 2 or more products bought together; or coupon offers where you are granted a discount on your whole order if you enter a specific Special Offer Code in our online checkout. PJ reserves the right to withdraw these offers at any time and without notice.
5. Carriage Charges and Delivery
PJ's major objective is to enable people to share and grow in their faith using our materials and in order to keep our product prices low we charge customers carriage to cover the cost of postage and packaging. We operate a tiered system based on total order weight value for UK orders (this is subject to change from time to time based on postal agency rates:
In order to gurantee safe delivery of your goods, we use recorded/sign for services (detail price under section shipping rate).
For overseas orders we charge strictly on the basis of the cost of carriage by our standard courier, unless you request collection by your own courier.
If you order through this website, these charges will be automatically added to your order. If you order offline, the charges will similarly be added to your order, unless you specify collection by your own courier. In purchasing on credit, you accept to pay our standard carriage charges.
Any special delivery instructions must be communicated to PJ when you place your order. PJ will only take responsibility for ensuring these delivery instructions are visible on the outside of the package. We accept no liability for any eventuality arising from the following of these instructions by the courier.
Parcels delivered by courier (this includes any orders that are unlikely to be sent by normal post due to size or weight): please note that delivery drivers, for reasons of liability and insurance, are not obliged to follow any instructions for leaving parcels in particular places if you happen to be out when they attempt to deliver: this is because they require a person's signature for the parcel. If you are likely to be out when they call, please give instructions to deliver to another person (e.g. a neighbour) who can sign for your parcel. If the driver fails to obtain a signature, he or she will normally leave the parcel at your nearest post office (this applies to UK deliveries).
6. Payment
Offline orders: PJ accepts payment for offline orders by cheque, credit or debit card, postal order and BACS for UK customers, and by credit / debit card or sterling draft drawn on a UK bank for overseas customers.
Online orders: For online orders we accept payment by credit or debit card. Online payments are made securely and immediately through Paypal ; we do not retain credit card details from online orders. In the event of items included in your order not being immediately available, we will inform you and either arrange for these to be forwarded to you at the first opportunity or give a refund for this part of your order.
7. Customs Charges
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the EU, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that PJ has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. PJ recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order.
8. Contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from PJ, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we dispatch that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not dispatched do not form part of that contract.
